It's so much fun playing matchmaker and styling articles of clothing from a thrift store. The Orangesicle Sweater Vest caught my eye first, then the complimentary colored Teal Hip-Hugging Pant, which matched so well with the Bluish Grey Tweed Blazer. I had to get them all. Not for nothing Valentine, they just looked so meant to be. And finally, I spotted this Purplish Houndstooth Scarf that completed the outfit as a whole. Match made in heaven. Visit my blog regularly to see other outfits I combine, but in the meantime check out my Etsy shop where you can find this outfit and many more.

A 90s garment travels to Valentine's 2016
Every year we see trends from the 80s, 70s, 60s, etc., but this 2016 the 90s are back! And I'm excited to say, I still own some original pieces that I purchased back then. Those of you may remember how cool the store, Wet Seal, used to be in the 90s. It was around the time when the film, Clueless came out, so it had a school girl influence but cutting edge. Their t.v. screens played MTV videos from morning till closing time. And you would leave the store not only humming alternative music but simultaneously checking your beeper, and carrying that classic yellow Wet Seal shopping bag with a great outfit to wear the next day to class. This Chevron Skirt, was one of the many things I purchased at Wet Seal. Plus, it's never been worn! How appropriate would it be to wear it now in 2016 for Valentine's Day? Who said garments can't travel to the future? It can be found at my Etsy shop, along with my Army Green Glittery Neck-Tie Blouse. Complete the outfit with thigh-high boots for a modern twist.
Have a Lovely Day <3

Dressing for the Snow
Yesterday was the first day it snowed in Jersey this Winter. I couldn't stop looking out my bedroom window, it had been years since I had seen snow. My Cell phone that I had purchased in Florida, now set for New Jersey, had flurries. It looked like a winter wonderland...so magical!
So now that I'm living in the cold, I've divided my wardrobe into 4 sections. These are the 4 basics that keep me warm: Long Sleeve Under-shirts, Sweaters, Leggings, and Bottoms.
Wear these 4 essentials under a Winter coat, throw on a scarf, knitted hat, gloves, and boots, and you are guaranteed to stay warm enough to enjoy the snow.
Happy Winter!

Periwinkle- Color of Winter '16
This Winter '16 light colors, almost easter-ish appropriate, are hopping...especially Periwinkle. This interesting color is a blend of light purple and blue that are combined to create this soft tone. It's a color so refreshing, I personally can see it roll over into Spring and not get bored of it for 2 seasons in a row. Find the above Periwinkle outfit at my Etsy shop called rginart:
